New Mexico Wood Industry Summit at the Ruidoso Convention Center
Friday & Saturday, November 16 & 17, 8 am to 5 pm.  All are welcome, from beginning to advance foresters, from home wood shops to established manufacturers, government and tribal officials, general public to seasoned contractors and more.  Wood industry equipment vendors, exhibitors and artisans alike will be showing off their products and services for all to see.  Admission is free.   
Events
Christmas Tree Permit Sale at the Smokey Bear Ranger Station - November 13 - December 21.  With a permit, a tree may be cut in most areas within the Lincoln National Forest, except in a "wilderness" or designated "closed" area.  Permits are $10.  Call 575-257-4095 for more information.
